Four to square off for Pitkin County commission seat; Owsley and Newman to run unopposed
There will be just one race for Pitkin County commissioner this year.
Capitol Creek rancher Steve Child, former Aspen Fire Chief Darryl Grob, Snowmass Village Town Councilman John Wilkinson, and former Snowmass Village Town Manager John Young will face off in a primary on June 26. The two candidates with the most votes will advance to the November election where a winner will be decided.
Michael Owsley and George Newman will run unopposed in Districts 3 and 5, respectively.
