Carbondale benefit for children, animals

The Carbondale Recreation Center, Colorado Animal Rescue and The Children’s Rocky Mountain School are teaming up to produce a Community Block Party at The Village Smithy and Third Street on Friday, May 4 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Everyone is welcome and admission is free! There will be great food and drink, live music by The Mile Markers, prize drawings and a KidZone featuring a Bounce House; games such as soccer kick, ring toss and mini-hoops; arts and crafts and face-painting. Carnival-style tickets will be sold ($1 per ticket) for food, drink and activities.
