College students will once again be able to save big and ski/ride for $41 per day in Aspen/Snowmass during X Games Aspen, Jan. 24-27, 2013.

In addition to the action at Buttermilk, Aspen/Snowmass will host a free Bud Light Hi-Fi concert featuring Mutemath at the base of Aspen Mountain on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 5:30 p.m.

“X Games Aspen is always a huge hit with the college crowd”, says John Rigney, Vice President of Sales and Events at Aspen Skiing Company. “This Mutemath show just adds to the excitement throughout the resort during this amazing weekend.”

Mutemath reigns from New Orleans as an American alternative rock band that formed in 2003. Nominated for a Grammy in 2007, Mutemath has played at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and on the Warped Tour. The band melds hip-hop, moments of grandeur, and vocals that are reminiscent of classic rock to create a sound that is inherently their own.

The College X Pass is a picture pass valid for two days of skiing or riding during X Games Aspen for only $82 and includes a coupon for 35 percent off equipment rentals at Four-Mountain Sports. Up to two additional days can be loaded onto the pass for $52/day. This pass is good on all four mountains – Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and the home mountain of X Games Aspen – Buttermilk. The College X Pass is valid during X Games dates only - Jan, 24-27, 2013 - and must be purchased by Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.

The College X Pass can be purchased online at www.aspensnowmass.com/collegexpass or by calling 877-282-7736 or 970-923-1227. Purchasers must be 24 or younger and present a valid ID from an accredited four-year college at the time of pass pickup. Only one pass is allowed per person.
