Eagle County Democratic Party Vacancy Committee to meet in Basalt

The Eagle County Democratic Party Vacancy Committee is holding the next meeting in the selection process for a county commissioner from Eagle County District II Wednesday, June 12, in Basalt. The candidate interview process by the vacancy committee will continue at the Basalt Middle School (51 School Street, Basalt, CO, 81621) at 6:30 p.m.

All meeting minutes and all candidate applications are available on the webpage www.eagledems.org. Click on the Vacancy Committee tab.

Public input regarding letters of recommendation or suggested topics for committee interviews with the applicants will only be accepted by email (vacancy@eagledems.org ) or by U.S. Mail (P.O. Box 4562, Eagle CO, 81631).

Voting and selection of the Eagle County Commissioner for District 2 by the Vacancy Committee will take place on June 12 or on June 19. The term for the new Commissioner begins July 1.

General meetings of the Vacancy Committee are open to the public but input will only be taken by email or regular mail.
